"King of Hearts"

The King of Hearts is the first in a series of portraits of face cards.  The hearts are very subtle so that they don't lessen his masculinity.  After all, this king is a manly man!  This piece is done in a style inspired by medieval stained glass and iconography.  The original artwork was completed with acrylics, collage, and Swarovski crystals on wood panel.
