Green Man

This is a beautiful depiction of the Celtic God 'The Greenman'.  He was the Celtic Lord of the forest. It was his job to keep all of the plants and animals safe. In order to hunt or cut down any trees you would first have to get his permission, or suffer his revenge! He was the one of the oldest and wisest of the Celtic Gods.
